humm pero veras, mario no definio la vforma como vivimos ni como percebimos el mundo, definio una generacion mas no definio la forma como esa generacion vivio.
hay juegos e iconos con fuerte predicamentos filosoficos, moralistas e intelectuales, no considero que mario fuese uno de ellos, no considero que mario impacta desde un punto psicologico o espirutual. es mas bien un icono que define los limites dentro de los cuales se dfinio una generacion.
finally someone understands what this is about, its not intended to be humorous, it's all about humanizing something we idolized and as the titles says its an icon that defined a generation and a decade (or more)
I see. Makes sense you did a good job! However what I originally meant was the scenery... Was it something you made up or was the drawing a reference from another artists work? Like satire or something?
You know, I see this as a very symbolic piece of art. Nakedness is often displayed as a sign of vulnerability. And the fact that Mario's body is always vulnerable, hence, whenever he gets hit by an enemy, he shrinks in size, or dies. This is further defined by the fact that his gloves are still on, what he uses when he punches blocks. And why his boots are still on, what he uses to stomp on his enemies. I probably just over analyzed the crap out of this, but I find this artwork extremely fascinating. Kudos to you for making such a beautiful piece.
